ABOUT THE AUTHOR
G. Giorgio was inspired to write his first children’s book because of the many stories he heard from his father about growing up in Italy. As a child, his father worked on the family farm, and also owned a donkey. The donkey’s name was Tozzo, which means Stumpy or stocky.
With dual citizenship in Italy and the United States, G. Giorgio was raised in Los Angeles and Orange County. He and his sister have written and produced three short films. One of those films has won awards at various film festivals.
He has also optioned a screen play, written numerous others and was a chef in his family’s award-winning restaurant for many years. Now, G. Giorgio is busy working on his next Stumpy adventure book.
